3 People who try out recipes that they have found online, do not follow the directions, and then post a negative comment about the recipe. Or people who ask questions about possible ingredient substitutions, proposing completely wrong ingredients.
Example: falafel recipe calls for chickpea flour to aid in binding. Commenter uses whole wheat flour and then rates the recipe as "didn't like it" and complains about the texture and incorrect cooking time.

I am lying on the sofa watching Friday Night Lights. Again. I'm cycling through the first season again biding my time until we restore our cable service again once baseball season starts.

I am also using the Temple Owls ipad app to keep an eye on the score of tonights game against Richmond. We are up at the moment.

Next, I need to plug this gadget into the computer so that I can take some music off of it. I'm completely sick of anything involving a Gainsbourg or the Velvet Underground right now. I know. Random in itunes always plays Serge Gainsbourg after something like No Age or Miles Davis and it completely wrecks whatever good feeling I have going on.

Temple is up 67-46 right now over Richmond. Im finished following that for now.

I'm a law librarian. Thats my profession. Imagine how shocked I was, just this afternoon, as I sat in frustrating traffic snarls all the way up I-95 to my home--- how shocked I was to hear this dude Papoose's series "Law Library" on 103.3. It's a series (I think thats what you'd call it) of hip hop tracks about, well, a pretty strict interpretation of Laws. I guess its supposed to be a street interpretation.
I guess I really have no point, I just wish I worked in an office environment where having a sound bite "Welcome to my law library" greeting my patrons would be not only accepted but rewarded.

I own this tshirt. Isn't it amazing? The guys at Birdland have the best tees. I was looking at Birdland tees on my blackberry one night when I spotted this gem. No contemplation was necessary and the shirt was purchased immediatly. I don't want to brag or anything but the day that I got it, Chooch himself hit a dinger against the Diamondbacks. This was the same night that, apparently, a Phillies fan won $1,000 in the Payoff inning thing. Now, I like to think that my wearing of the Panamania tshirt may have brough ol Chooch a little extra good luck. If the prize winner wanted to give me a little bit of a commission for arranging that good luck -- well, I certainly wouldn't object.

I was in the shower about ten minutes ago. I began thinking about how much I love to update my facebok status, post links to things, listen to myself speak to the internet, drink wine and find funny news stories and and and and and and and how I've failed at blogging a gazillion times. Seriously, I used to have a blog about food and I dropped the ball on that one. I used to be angry but now I'm just hysterical.

I'm going to blog the shiiiiiii.... out of this blog, you wait and see. The blog name is a combo of FICHE, a former nickname + edelphia because I live in PHILADELPHIA and things that start with Phile- or end in -delphia tend to be successful, dissapointing and pretty damn addicitive. or whatever
